Church music has been a constant in my life for fifty years, beginning as a member of the Cherub Choir at First Baptist Church in Pampa, Texas.  Although I have never had the opportunity to be a full-time church musician, I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities in several churches. The service of worship is of great importance to me and being in a position to help plan and lead in worship is something I particularly enjoy. I am honored to be a part of the Krum UMC staff and to have the joy of directing its wonderful choir.

• Married to Terry since 1973
• Daughter Teryn, married to David Murray, parents of our incredible grandchildren, Elena (11-13-03) and Ian (5-25-05), divide their time between Sherman, Texas and Montrose, Colorado where David manages two Green Market Natural Food Stores
• Son Thann lives in Boston, Massachusetts where he is Student Disabilities Assistant for the Dean of Students at Harvard Law School ; he is also a professional singer.
