See you Tuesday, January 6th!

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I just want to remind everyone to bring back their blankets and nap mats on Tuesday. I know most people took theirs home to wash them.

Also, Ms. Page's class will start building up to count all the way to 100. In a week or so, we will start sight words too. Watch for an information sheet on our words soon.

Christmas Parade Information

CDO Parade of Lights Float Information

Theme: Away in the Manger
No costumes will be worn on the float, some walkers will be asked to wear a lighted halo. Please dress you and your children warmly. Walkers and riders will be tossing candy to the spectators.

Time: The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6. The float will arrive at the parking lot of the baseball fields by 5:00 p.m. From 1173 turn right onto 4th Street , pass 2 stop signs and turn left on Valley View, 3rd stop sign. At the end of the street there will be a large vacant lot, corner of Valley View and Park Lane. Ms. Sandy will be there between 5:00 and 5:30 to get riders/walkers to the float. Please be at the lot no later than 5:30.

Pickup: The parade ends in front of Hattie Dyer Primary School on 3rd Street, almost to Huffman. It is easiest to park in that area and pick up the children afterwards. It does get a little crazy around there so we recommend a side street in the area to park.

This is such a fun evening for the children, and adults. We will be serving hot cocoa and cookies while we are waiting for the parade to start. If you are planning on walking with the float please wear comfortable shoes, the floats go faster than you think.

Remember your camera!
