Chuck E. Cheese night has been changed to Oct. 26

Chuck E. Cheese will come visit the school at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26th as well. Feel free to bring any children up to visit (CDO or not). Please help us spread the word to anyone about our event. The more, the merrier! The event is open from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and we receive 15% of all that is purchased through the registers. We just have to tell the cashiers to credit it to CDO! What a fun time and a great opportunity!~

Chuck E. Cheese Fundraiser - October 22nd

Please save October 22, 2009 (Time TBA) as a night out for your family and friends!

CDO will be having a party at Chuck E. Cheese. Please share this with anyone who has children and enjoys pizza. CDO will receive 15% of all sales. This is a great way to have fun as a family and contribute to CDO as well.

In addition, there is a "Get Dressed" calendar you can print. If you child gets up on time every day for two weeks, he or she can turn in the calendar and receive 10 free tokens. What a great incentive!

SUMMER SPLASH

Summer Splash starts on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Children (ages 2 - Pre-K) should bring something to rest on. Everyone should bring a lunch that does not need to be heated or refrigerated. We still have a few spaces available. Just show up on Tuesday and we can take care of the rest!

GRADUATION PLANS

Graduation Plans

Graduation ceremonies and promotion program has been changed to the evening of May 28th. The program will begin at 6:00 p.m. A light supper will be provided following the program.


CDO will have early dismissal at 12 noon.

1. Our Graduating Pre-K’s will be in cap and gowns. Parents will receive the cap as a memento. Gown rental is $8.00. Each Pre-K will receive a diploma.
2. Our Undergrad children will wear Sunday clothes. Each child will receive a certificate of promotion.
3. Each class will have a special part in the program and all children are asked to participate.
4. Please feel free to invite friends and relatives. We are now able to comfortably seat 200 people.

Needing some stuff!

Hi Everyone~

As you all know, we are still working on getting our rooms/facility fully supplied with toys and such. We have three needs/wants right now. I wanted to check to see if any of you just might have any of the requests:

1. Little Tike (or something like it) Work Benches - we could use two or three.

2. Little Tike or Radio Flyer (or something like it) Wagon - we could use two. These would be used to transport our younger children on walks outside or used in an emergency to help evacuate.

3. Little Tike or Step 3 (or something like it) Play houses - we could use two or three of these. We will have a great play area for our children two and up but we would also love to have some playhouses for our little, little ones.

If you have any of these items or would like to make a cash donation to purchase one, please contact me ASAP!
