Clean out your attic!

Dear Parents and friends of CDO,

As we are quickly approaching our move in date of March 31, we can use your help! Remember all those toys you put up in your attic because your little one has outgrown them but you just couldn’t throw them away? Well, we have a place for them.

The new church needs toys and other items for small children. Below is a list items that can be used. If you have something not on the list, we might can still use it! Please contact Kristi Lounsbury (940-482-1977 or email) if you have items to donate. There are some things that we will not want as duplicates. The donations can be brought to the new church after April 1.

All items need to be clean and working. No guns or toys promoting violence.

Change in plans

Jana's daughter has the flu. We will not be meeting at her house. Is there anyone else who would be willing to host this coming week?

New Play Dates Announced!!!!

Please come join in on the fun! The kids attending are having a great time!

Tuesday, February 17: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon: Jana Zavishlak's home (10817 Jackson Rd, Krum). Jana is asking that you not drop off your child. Please plan to stay with them during their play time. Please bring a lunch.

Wednesday, February 25: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon: Heros (in Denton http://www.herosdenton.com/ Take Loop 288 heading East. You will cross HWY 380 and then McKinney Street. At the next light (Morse Street) turn left. We are on the left in the Pecan Creek Business Center. Morse Street dead ends into Mayhill.) Cost is $6.00 for the kids to jump in tons of bounce houses for two hours!!! I believe there is food available to purchase on site.

Tuesday, March 3: 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon: Sandy Clere's home (307 Broken Arrow, Krum). Please bring a lunch.

Tuesday, March 10: 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon: Picnic and games at the City Park. Ms. Kristi will be happy to co-sponsor this with someone. Please bring a lunch.

Valentines Party

What: A Valentines Day Party
Who: All CDO Children (and younger siblings),
Parents, Staff, and Board Members
When: Thursday, February 12; 10:00 a.m - Noon
Where: First Baptist Church (Krum) in their Lodge

Details: During the party we will play a couple of games, decorate our Valentine bags, decorate cookies and eat a lunch

(hot dogs, chips, drinks and our decorated cookies)

Please bring enough Valentines for 40 children.
This should cover our "extras."

Also, instead of renting the facility, I am asking each child to bring

2 or 3 canned goods for the Special Touch Food Bank.
